Covid19-test when entering Norway

If you have been in a country or area with a quarantine obligation during the last 14 days, you must take a corona test as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours after arrival in Norway.

The test should be taken at the airport or at the border crossing.

If this is not possible, contact the municipality you are planning to stay in to arrange testing.

In Lyngdal the test station for covid19 is contacted on telephone 979 99 600. The telephone is answered between 9 and 15, Monday to Friday. The test station is located at Lindeveien 5.

If you need a mandatory test when entering Norway on Saturdays or Sundays, this must take place at the border station or at the airport.

If mandatory testing at the weekend is impossible to carry out at the airport or border station (requires documentation), you can contact the acute medical center on telephone 116 117.

Approved test method is PCR or antigen rapid test.
